Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Daniel connects with a hard punch making Bryce Rattray bring him in to a tight clinch. Daniel Gomez grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Rattray on the floor. Gomez grabs a foot and kicks at Bryces thighs. He then backs off and Bryce Rattray stands back up. Bryce is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Daniel chucks Bryces legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Bryce sweeps over Daniel and quickly obtains mount position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Bryce attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by an upward elbow strike that rocks him. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Gomez lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Daniel Gomez is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. While tied up, Daniel Gomez is met with a hard uppercut. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The fighters circle each other. Bryce takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Rattray attempts a striking combination, but Daniel Gomez forces the clinch. Gomez is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Gomez grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Bryce. Gomez keeps Bryce at a distance with some well timed jabs. Bryce connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gomez dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Rattray. Gomez connects with a right that puts Bryce off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gomez towers over him. Daniel Gomez lays into Rattrays thighs with some well timed kicks while Rattray is grounded. Round 3 comes to a close.
