Round 1 Charo throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Issac Faamoana. Issac Faamoana connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Charo. Issac is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Cruz welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Issac back to striking distance. Charo shuffles away from Issacs strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Issac Faamoana backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Issac Faamoana is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Cruz. Issac Faamoana attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Faamoana lands a lunging, looping hook to Cruzs temple. Issac attempts a striking combination, but Charo forces the clinch. Issac Faamoana receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Charo Cruz. Charo works to Issacs back while standing. Charo throws a couple of outside shots until Issac Faamoana is able to work his way back to the clinch. Issac takes Charos back standing. Cruz isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Issac lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Cruz to release. Charo Cruz connects with a series of punches forcing Issac Faamoana into a clinch. Cruz grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Faamoana under the eye. Cruz connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Issac is dazed on the mat. Issac Faamoana thrusts his leg into Cruzs knee while grounded. Cruz lays into Issac with some stomps. Issac can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
