Round 1 Kyaw Linn connects with jab cross combination. Nguyen narrowly dodges a cross from Kyaw Linn, but falls catching him in his guard. Nguyen Nguyen lands a stiff elbow while on his back. A can opener from Kyaw Linn opens up Nguyens guard. Kyaw Linn lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Kyaw Linn is able to slip into mount from the half guard. telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Nguyen gives up his back to stop the attempt. Nguyen starts to wiggle out of back control, lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Kyaw Linn circles Nguyen Nguyen, landing jabs and crosses at will. Nguyen hoists up Kyaw Linn in the air and delivers a powerful slam but the landing is off. Nguyen knocks himself out.
