Round 2 Dunbar throws a few jabs at Marchal that miss the mark. Huntly Dunbar lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Marchal. A wild hook from Huntly Dunbar is ducked by Marchal who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Huntly circles Fabien Marchal, landing jabs at will. Marchal connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Dunbar is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Fabien Marchal falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Dunbar is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Marchal. Marchal passes through Dunbars guard into mount. Huntly gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Marchal tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Dunbar starts to wiggle out of back control, Marchal lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Marchal works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Marchal fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Huntly Dunbar up for a flurry of hooks. Fabien Marchal and Huntly Dunbar begin to trade strikes. Huntly Dunbar lands a jab, cross. Fabien Marchal connects with a body shot followed by a hook. Fabien Marchal gains a muay-thai clinch and lands some hard hooks. He then pulls Dunbars head to a strong knee strike, knocking him to the floor. Fabien Marchal drops a huge strike to Dunbars chin, landing into his guard. Round 3 is finished.
