Round 1 Kurt circles Gage McConomy, mixing jabs with body shots. Bryant shoots for a single leg but Gage McConomy is able to hop away, defending well. Bryant takes the opportunity to execute a difficult double-ankle pick. A strong chopping strike hits Kurt Bryant across the face. Kurt Bryant lands a series of return strikes. Round 2 Gage McConomy attempts a takedown but slips, and Kurt backs away. Kurt is standing over Gage McConomy. Bryant stands over Gage McConomy, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gage McConomy is able to grab an arm and pull Bryant into his guard. Kurt Bryant sits up and fakes a double axehandle to the face, instead striking the body. McConomy pulls Kurt Bryant close while he regains his breath. Kurt Bryant takes advantage of a mental laps from Gage McConomy and moves into full mount. Bryant denies every transition Gage McConomy attempts to get out of mount. Dominating the position with ease Bryant does the saturday night ride playing to the crowd. Gage gets pummeled by the fists of Kurt Bryant. Gage gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. McConomy rolls back into being mounted. Kurt Bryant lands a double punch to the head of Gage. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Bryant throws a hard jab but Gage throws a cross right over the top rocking Bryant. Gage connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A welt begins to form under Gage McConomys eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Bryant. Bryant hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. A lazy leg kick from Kurt Bryant is caught by Gage McConomy who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Kurt Bryant.Round 3 comes to a close.
