Round 1
"judo" starts to put on the pressure, forcing Diego back into the cage. "judo" takes advantage and clinches. While in the clinch Diego attempts a knee to the leg of Simon Bryant but is quickly tossed to the ground with a Kouchi Gaeshi technique. Simon Bryant takes side control. Simon Bryant lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "judo" slides his knee across the body of Diego Phaxsi and takes full mount. Diego attempts to buck Simon off from mount but Simon keeps his base and maintains position. Diego gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Bryant snaps back the head of Diego Phaxsi with a stiff jab. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Diego takes Bryants back standing, but "judo" isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Diego squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Diego throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Diego Phaxsi works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Diego goes for a hip throw of his own, but Simon is able to counter it, sending Diego to the ground. Diego Phaxsi takes a few knees to the body while under Bryants side control. Simon Bryant uses his knee to trap Phaxsis near arm. Simon Bryant rains down strikes until the the ref calls a halt to the fight.
