Round 1 Jon parries Chase Fosters jab and connect with a cross. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Chase Foster works Moody into the cage from the clinch. Chase Foster presses his head under Jons chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Chase Foster lets the clock tick away as he has Jon pressed up against the cage. Fans in the arena are booing loudly. Chase Foster grinds his forearm into the face of Moody while holding him into the cage. Jon executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jon connects with a hard punch making Chase Foster bring him in to a tight clinch. Moody is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Jon takes Chase Fosters back standing. Foster isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Jon lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Foster to release. A welt begins to form under Jons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Chase Foster. Moody circles Foster, landing jabs at will. Jon dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Chase presses forward and grazes Jon with a combo. Jon wants none of the stand up and clinches with Chase to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Moody lays into Chase with some stomps. Chase can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
