Brams dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Guto Cunha standing over him. Cunha grabs a foot and kicks at Bramss thighs. He then backs off and Jonathan stands back up. Cunha lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Jonathan Brams. Cunha connects with a hard punch making Brams bring him in to a tight clinch. Cunha then switch kicks Brams on the opposing rib. Cunha tries to hyperextend the knee of Jonathan Brams with a kick to the kneecap. Jonathan Brams hops back to avoid it. Cunha connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Jonathan who falls to the ground. Cunha waves him back to his feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Guto Cunha catches Brams with an eye poke. Cunha rushes forward to capitalize but Jonathan stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cunha lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Jonathan Brams. Cunha then switch kicks Jonathan Brams on the opposing rib. Jonathan attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a hard elbow to the chin. The bell signals the end of round 5.
