Round 1 Ning Sha parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. A trip to the ground allows Ning to move into the guard of Vasilii. Nazarov gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Vasilii Nazarov sneaks his legs through and uses butterfly guard defense. "Red Flag" is launched in the air but maintains balance in his opponents guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Nazarov works Sha into the cage from the clinch. Nazarov presses his head under Ning Shas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Sha drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Vasilii Nazarov sets a guillotine choke but Sha slips out at the last moment. Sha is now caught in guard. Ning tries to pass guard but Vasilii stops him with a well timed punch. Nazarov lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Vasilii fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "Red Flag". "Red Flag" attempts to pass Vasilii Nazarovs guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A jab from Vasilii is blocked and a cross is returned by Ning Sha. Vasilii Nazarov catches a leg kick from Ning Sha, and puts him on the mat. Ning Sha begins to posture on his side. Nazarov lands a couple of outside hooks and Ning Sha returns to the guard. Vasilii pushes down Nings leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Vasilii Nazarov hits Ning with some punches to the side of the head. Vasilii Nazarov tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Vasilii slams his knee into "Red Flags" ribs. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Ning is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Ning can continue. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sha grabs the plum and pulls Vasilii Nazarovs face into a powerful knee. Vasilii Nazarov eats a strong cross as Sha moves into the clinch. Nazarov applies a standing armbar in the clinch to stop Ning Sha from performing and offense. Ning traps the arm of Vasilii Nazarov in his armpit while dropping to the ground with a foot sweep. Ning applies pressure to the elbow but Vasilii Nazarov quickly transitions out with a scramble to the feet. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. Ning Sha tries to hyperextend the knee of Vasilii with a kick to the kneecap. Vasilii hops back to avoid it. Ning dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. "Red Flag" connects with a series of punches forcing Nazarov into a clinch. Vasilii Nazarov takes Shas back standing. Vasilii Nazarov lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Ning Sha is able to work his way back around. Ning lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. From the clinch, "Red Flag" hurls Vasilii over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. "Red Flag" is able to get into half guard. Round 5 is over.
