Round 1 Yancy connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Szymanski. Wojciech connects with a hard punch making Madera bring him in to a tight clinch. Wojciech drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Yancy sets a guillotine choke but Wojciech slips out at the last moment. Wojciech is now caught in guard. Yancy Madera backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "Little Italy" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Wojciech Szymanski catches Yancy with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Yancy gather himself. Yancy says he is ok and the fight continues. "Little Italy" blocks a left high kick from Yancy Madera, but is still staggered by it. Yancy Madera follows up with a strong right hook, putting "Little Italy" out cold.
