Round 1 Kada throws a few jabs at Cassidy Fuimaono that miss the mark. A wild hook from Hitoshi is ducked by Cassidy who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hitoshi escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Hitoshi Kada. Fuimaono is able to pull him into his guard. Cassidy Fuimaono attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A trip to the ground allows Cassidy to move into the guard of Hitoshi Kada. Kada sets in an omaplata, forcing Cassidy Fuimaono to roll through, giving Kada side control. Fuimaono almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Hitoshi throws his knee into the ribs of Fuimaono. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Hitoshi Kada connects with a series of punches forcing Cassidy into a clinch. Kada ducks under to the back of Fuimaono and hops up getting both hooks in. Kada applies a deep choke. Fuimaono fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Cassidy takes Kadas back standing, but Hitoshi Kada isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Cassidy squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Fuimaono slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Hitoshi Kada to the ground. Fuimaono works for a reverse heel hook but cannot finish and opts to enter Kadas guard. Hitoshi lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Hitoshi attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Cassidy slips out at the last moment. Cassidy Fuimaono tries to pass guard but Hitoshi Kada stops him with a well timed punch. Fuimaono punches down onto Kada with shots to the head but Kada grabs an arm from guard holding onto the wrist. Fuimaono delivers more shots to the body and head with his free arm. Kada grabs his other arm while securing his own legs over the head of Fuimaono. Kada straightens out both arms and applies pressure. Fuimaono yells to the referee to stop the fight.
