Round 1 A welt begins to form under Khoos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ella Matic. Ella Matic connects with a strong right hook. Ya Khoo dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Matic connects with jab cross combination. Khoo throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Matic is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Ya Khoo winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Ella connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ya. Ella snaps back the head of Ya Khoo with a stiff jab. Ya throws a cross that easily dodged by Ella. Ya Khoo keeps Ella at a distance with some well timed jabs. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Ella Matic takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block her head. Ella Matic connects with a hard punch making Khoo bring her in to a tight clinch. Khoo drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Matic sets a guillotine choke but Khoo slips out at the last moment. Khoo is now caught in guard. Ella Matic backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Khoo is dizzied on her feet from a furious punching sequence from Ella Matic. Matic connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Khoo quickly ducks under a hard hook attempt and snatches a standing head and arm choke attempt. Ella Matic attempts to force her arm out but can not. Khoo lifts Ella Matic up in the air and turns violently whipping Ella Matic and finally crashing to the mat on the back of her head and neck. Ella Matic shockingly is still in the fight. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Matic circles Khoo, landing jabs and crosses at will. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Ella lands a hook to the body. Ella Matic pummels Khoo with a series of rapid fire fists. Matic unleashes a flurry of punches on Ya Khoo. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
