Round 1 Asuhara throws a hard jab but Periault throws a cross right over the top rocking Asuhara. Kazumi Asuhara is hit with two hard punches to her face. Kazumi Asuhara laughs off the punches. Kazumi Asuhara is staggered by a jab to the chin. Two quick punches opens up Kazumi for a takedown. Bianca pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Kazumi on her back. Bianca falls into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Kazumi Asuhara connects with a hard punch making Bianca Periault bring her in to a tight clinch. Bianca works to Kazumis back while standing. Bianca throws a couple of outside shots until Asuhara is able to work her way back to the clinch. Periault takes the back of Kazumi who works for a kimura. Periault pulls her arm out of the hold and push Kazumi away. Kazumi Asuhara presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Periault, aggressively pulling guard. Kazumi Asuhara begins to posture on her side. Bianca Periault lands a couple of outside hooks and Kazumi Asuhara returns to the guard. Asuhara fires elbows off her back to the top of the head of Periault. Bianca keeps her head down in the chest of Kazumi Asuhara to avoid any submission attempts. Bianca leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Kazumi Asuhara attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for her troubles. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Kazumi hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Periault hits an uppercut to the head of Asuhara followed by a hard hook. Asuhara hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Bianca. Kazumi Asuhara connects with a hard jab as Periault attempts a wide outside hook. The bell signals the end of round 3.
