Round 1 A welt begins to form under Katelyn Dolans eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Matic. Katelyn circles Ella Matic, mixing jabs with body shots. Katelyn Dolan connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Katelyn parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Matic is cornered by Katelyn who tries to press the action. Matic is able to block well and circles away from Katelyn, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as she does so. After dodging a jab-cross, Ella lands a kick to the liver of Dolan who steps back and begins to take a knee. Ella rushes forward to capitalize but Dolan stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs her up. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Katelyn winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Matic throws a few jabs at Katelyn Dolan that miss the mark. Matic uses her jabs to set up crushing inside and outside leg kicks. Katelyn Dolan hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Ella throws a teep backing Dolan off. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Katelyn wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Ella Matic. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Katelyn Dolan connects with a hard jab as Ella Matic attempts a wide outside hook. Ella Matic gets hit with a strong punch, putting her to the mat, but she recovers just in time to give up her back. Matic carefully protects herself from Dolans strikes. Matic is able to make it back to the standing position. Ella snaps back the head of Katelyn with a stiff jab. Ella Matic snaps back the head of Katelyn with a stiff jab.
