Round 1 Matic connects with a hard punch making Shamrock bring her in to a tight clinch. Matic works the clinch to her advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ella takes the back of Lainey who works for a kimura. Ella pulls her arm out of the hold and push Lainey away. Matic connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Lainey. Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Lainey reaches down and trips Ella with a beautiful ankle pick. Lainey dives into her guard. Matic is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Two strong elbows from Lainey Shamrock dazes Ella. Lainey Shamrock transitions into side control.
