Round 1 A wild hook from Shamrock is ducked by Ella who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Ella circles away from Lainey Shamrock, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Ella throws a push kick. Lainey shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Matics nose.
Lainey connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ella Matic attempts a jab but is countered by a hard left leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a picture perfect right hand from Shamrock that knocks her to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Ella is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Lainey Shamrock presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Ella survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Lainey Shamrock circles Ella, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ella Matic takes the back of Lainey who works for a kimura. Ella Matic pulls her arm out of the hold and push Lainey away. Lainey connects with a right that puts Matic off balance tumbling to the mat, as Lainey towers over her. Lainey Shamrock attempts to drop a fist on Matic, but misses and lands in her guard. Lainey lands an intense elbow that has Ella rocked. Lainey lands an outside strike as she moves into side mount. Matic almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Laineys knee strike causes Matic to writhe in pain. Lainey Shamrock continues with knee strikes until Matic rolls to her side. Lainey Shamrock finishes her off with strikes.
