Round 1
Hudson circles Oyinlola, landing jabs and crosses at will. "Nigerian Circus" connects with a hard jab as Chael Hudson attempts a wide outside hook. Akwa lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Akwa receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Hudson. "The Hitman" takes Akwas back standing. Akwa isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "The Hitman" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Akwa to release. Akwa throws a cross that easily dodged by "The Hitman". Chael Hudson parries Akwas jab and connect with a cross. Hudson connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Akwa. Hudson parries Oyinlolas jab and lands a hook that floors Oyinlola. Chael stands over Akwa, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Akwa cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Chael lands a double jab. "The Hitman" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Oyinlola puts "The Hitman" on the mat giving his back up. Chael carefully protects himself from "Nigerian Circuss" strikes. Chael Hudson slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Chael blocks a strong high kick from Akwa Oyinlola and counters with a devastating left hook. Chael dodges a series of strikes from Oyinlola and counters with a body shot and cross. Chael then backs up and wags a finger at Oyinlola. Chael takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head.Round 3 comes to a close.
