Round 1 The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. Khurshid connects with a series of punches forcing Aitor Ola into a clinch. Round 2 Khurshid fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Gator". Nafisi ducks under to the back of "Gator" and hops up getting both hooks in. Nafisi applies a deep choke. "Gator" fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Khurshid Nafisi dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Gator" standing over him. Aitor drops a huge strike to Nafisis chin, landing into his guard. Khurshid Nafisi dodges some ground strikes from Aitor, and sends a few back of his own. Khurshid tries for a kimura from the bottom. Ola uses his free hand to connect with several punches and Khurshid is forced to give up on the kimura. Khurshid is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Ola frees a leg and moves into half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Khurshid, but Aitor Ola is able to muscle through for a takedown. A strong chopping strike hits Ola across the face. Ola lands a series of return strikes. Khurshid Nafisi gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Aitor wraps the arm of Khurshid behind his back and traps it. Aitor pounds away with shots to the face. "Gator" wraps the arm of Khurshid behind his back and traps it.
