Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Xia slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Gary to the ground. Xia works for a heel hook but cannot finish and both fighters work to standing. Gary Brodie narrowly dodges a cross from Chun Xia, but falls catching him in his guard. Chun snatches a leg and gets a tight grip around the achilles tendon. Chun wrenches back on the ankle of Brodie but slips out. Chun quickly gets back into the guard of his opponent. Chun eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then switched, giving Gary Brodie full mount. Brodie punishes Chun Xia with a series of strikes from the mount. Chun bucks off Gary and gives up his back but Gary is too quick and locks in a tight choke.
