Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "SCP 173" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Velasquez dives in for a leg and threatens quickly with a leg lock. "Style Choice" falls back to his back giving Velasquez the opening to jump into dominant half guard. Orlando Howard is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Ricardo Velasquez keeps his head down in the chest of Howard to avoid any submission attempts. Ricardo Velasquez leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Ricardo Velasquez pushes down "Style Choices" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Ricardo tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Ricardo slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Howard to the ground. Ricardo works for a heel hook but cannot finish and both fighters work to standing. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ricardo Velasquez places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Orlando Howard receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "SCP 173". "Style Choice" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Orlando connects with a strong right hook. Howard ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Ricardo and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. "Style Choice" hits an uppercut to the head of Ricardo Velasquez followed by a hard hook. "SCP 173" is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Howard explodes with a flurry of punches. "SCP 173" is then thrown to the floor. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ricardo works Howard into the cage from the clinch. Ricardo presses his head under Howards chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. While tied up, Ricardo is met with a hard uppercut. Howard winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Howard connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ricardo. Ricardo parries Orlandos jab and connect with a cross. Orlando attempts a takedown but slips, and Ricardo Velasquez backs away. Ricardo Velasquez is standing over Orlando. "SCP 173" stands over "Style Choice", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Style Choice" is able to grab an arm and pull "SCP 173" into his guard. The round comes to an end.
