Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. Mullagori connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Alfredo connects with a strong body shot combo. Mullagori fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Father Funk". Mullagori escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Usman feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Padilla. Usman dives into guard. Usman takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Father Funks" guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Padilla makes his way to standing. Mullagori narrowly dodges a cross from Alfredo Padilla, but falls catching him in his guard. "Kamaru" powers out sweeping "Father Funk" with pure strength. "Kamaru" is now in side control. "Kamaru" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Padilla gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Padilla receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Usman Mullagori. While tied up, Alfredo is met with a hard uppercut. Alfredo Padilla dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Usman Mullagori connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Padilla. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Padilla is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Usman Mullagori prepares to pounce, but Padilla gets his bearings just in time. Usman stands over Alfredo, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Alfredo cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Alfredo connects with numerous jabs to the face of Mullagori. Alfredo throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Padilla gets a trip takedown from clinch and end up in the half guard of Mullagori. Mullagori holds the head of Alfredo close to avoid shots. Alfredo slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. "Kamaru" snatches a kimura lock but Alfredo Padilla spins around quickly to the other side holding dominant side control.Round 3 comes to a close.
