Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. A wild hook from Karakoc is ducked by Rodrigo who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Karakoc throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Bustamante is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Kemal throws a push kick. Bustamante shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Karakocs nose.
Rodrigo connects with a series of punches forcing Kemal Karakoc into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Bustamante works Kemal into the cage from the clinch. Bustamante presses his head under Kemal Karakocs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Rodrigo Bustamante fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Kemal Karakoc to the cage. Kemal Karakoc swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "Speed Buster" frees a leg and moves into half guard. Kemal holds the head of Bustamante close to avoid shots. Bustamante slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Rodrigo Bustamante hits Kemal Karakoc with some punches to the side of the head.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Rodrigo Bustamante winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Kemal Karakoc connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Kemal Karakoc dives in for a leg and threatens quickly with a leg lock. Rodrigo falls back to his back giving Kemal Karakoc the opening to jump into dominant half guard. Rodrigo uses the planted arm of Kemal Karakoc to push off and get back to guard position. Kemal snatches a leg and gets a tight grip around the achilles tendon. Kemal wrenches back on the ankle of Rodrigo but slips out. Kemal quickly gets back into the guard of his opponent. Kemal pushes down "Speed Busters" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Bustamante hips out allowing him to take Kemals back.Round 3 comes to a close.
