Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Pyay connects with a jab cross combination. Daniel Cheng presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Pyay, aggressively pulling guard. Daniel sinks a deep kimura, but Zeyar slides out. This gives Daniel the chance to switch to half guard. Daniel Cheng goes to deep half guard and rocks forward then backward hitting a sweep on Pyay and ending up in side control. Daniel moves to north-south position. Zeyar Pyay begins to roll out from under Daniel but Daniel is able scramble to Zeyar Pyays back. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Cheng snaps back the head of Zeyar Pyay with a stiff jab. Daniel lands a strong right cross, knocking back Zeyar Pyay. Zeyar Pyay shakes his head, no selling the strike. Daniel executes a single leg giving him the back of Pyay. Cheng begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Zeyar Pyay rolls to being mounted instead. Zeyar attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Zeyar Pyay gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Daniel Cheng catches a leg kick from Zeyar Pyay, and puts him on the mat. Cheng tries to pass guard but Zeyar Pyay stops him with a well timed punch. Daniel Cheng takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Zeyar Pyays guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Zeyar makes his way to standing. "San" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Zeyar Pyay is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Pyay connects with a strong body shot combo. Pyay loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by "San" for the mistake. "San" has side control. Daniel lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Daniel postures up and lands a couple of strong elbows to the head of Pyay. Pyay rolls away from Daniel but Daniel follows him and takes his back. Round 3 is over.
