Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Wynne attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Churatupa now is in dominant side mount. "Churro" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Emilio Churatupa slides his knee across the body of Maddoc and takes full mount. "Galactus" shifts his head and hips to keep Emilio Churatupa off balance and unable to land strikes. Churatupa maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Emilio Churatupas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Maddoc. Maddoc connects with a series of punches forcing "Churro" into a clinch. Wynne escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Emilio is staggered by a jab to the chin. Maddoc fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Churro". Emilio Churatupa attempts to grab the plum but Wynne takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Emilio Churatupa. "Churro" dodges some ground strikes from Maddoc Wynne, and sends a few back of his own. Wynne frees a leg and moves into half guard. "Galactus" presses his foot onto the thigh of "Churro" to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Churatupa almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Maddoc uses his knee to trap Emilios near arm. Maddoc rains down strikes until the the ref calls a halt to the fight.
