Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Elian Daube throws a few jabs at Mullagori that miss the mark. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Elian Daube works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Mullagori lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Daube for a trip takedown. Daube is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Usmans half guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "Kamaru" hits an uppercut to the head of Elian followed by a hard hook. Daube connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Usman. Elian Daube throws a cross that easily dodged by Mullagori. Usman Mullagori throws a hard jab but Daube throws a cross right over the top rocking Usman Mullagori. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Mullagori fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Elian. "Kamaru" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Daube. "Kamaru" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Elian. Elian drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Usman Mullagori sets a guillotine choke but Elian slips out at the last moment. Elian is now caught in guard. Daube pushes down Usman Mullagoris leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Elian Daube presses his foot onto the thigh of Usman to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. "Kamaru" is wisely defending a kimura. Elian Daube attempts to take it but "Kamaru" is having none of it, though Elian Daube has used the chance the slide into mount. Usman Mullagori gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Elian locks in a rear naked choke, Usman Mullagori is fighting off the choke and gives a thumbs up to the referee. After a few more seconds of control time Elian gives up the choke. The bell signals the end of round 3.
