Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Iosefo Lotulelei connects with a hard punch making "The Great Butler" bring him in to a tight clinch. Lotulelei lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Iosefo Lotulelei escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "The Great Butler" continually moves away from Lotulelei, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Iosefo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Iosefo hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Alexandre. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Iosefo lands a double jab. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Alexandre Paiva connects with a hard jab as Lotulelei attempts a wide outside hook. Iosefo Lotulelei lands a devastating overhand right on Alexandre Paiva. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Lotulelei peppers Alexandre Paiva with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Alexandre Paiva drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Iosefo Lotulelei sets a guillotine choke but Alexandre Paiva slips out at the last moment. Alexandre Paiva is now caught in guard. Iosefo Lotulelei backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Iosefo connects with a strong body shot combo. Alexandre Paiva feints and follows up with a hard cross. Iosefo Lotulelei stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Alexandre Paiva connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Seeing the guard of Paiva is open, Iosefo slits it with a merciless uppercut that nearly dislodges their mouthpiece. Firing at the ribs of Paiva with a ruthless right and a mighty left, Paiva folds like a wet cardboard box and is done.
