Round 2 A welt begins to form under Sebastian Velasquezs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Jimiyu Achieng. Achieng connects with a hard punch making Sebastian Velasquez bring him in to a tight clinch. "Saban " lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Jimiyu Achieng for a trip takedown. Jimiyu Achieng is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Sebastians half guard. Achieng is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Sebastian Velasquez bucks off Achieng and both fighters get to their feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Sebastian Velasquez connects with a strong body shot combo. Velasquez circles Achieng, landing jabs and crosses at will. Achieng connects with a jab cross combination. Achieng hoists up Velasquez in the air and delivers a powerful slam but the landing is off. Achieng knocks himself out.
