Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Santiago lands a hook to the body. Manuel fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Alberto Santiago quickly takes his back. Santiago begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Manuel Mendoza rolls to being mounted instead. "God of War" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "Dead Shot" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Both fighters begin to exchange "God of War" catches Santiago with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Santiago gather himself. Santiago says he is ok and the fight continues. Manuel Mendoza starts to put on the pressure, forcing "Dead Shot" back into the cage. Manuel Mendoza takes advantage and clinches. Santiago drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Manuel Mendoza sets a guillotine choke but Santiago slips out at the last moment. Santiago is now caught in guard. "God of War" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Alberto does a good job to circle away from Manuel Mendoza but becomes too predictable and Manuel Mendoza lands a switch kick to "Dead Shots" ribs. "God of War" dodges a series of strikes from Santiago and counters with a body shot and cross. "God of War" then backs up and wags a finger at Santiago. Mendoza stuffs a shot from "Dead Shot" and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Manuel Mendoza loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by "Dead Shot" for the mistake. "Dead Shot" has side control. "God of War" takes a few knees to the body while under Santiagos side control. Alberto Santiago drops some good elbows to the face of Manuel Mendoza forcing him to give up his back. Manuel Mendoza tries to stand up but Santiago plants him back down with several strikes. Alberto Santiago peppers "God of War" from his back. "God of War" rolls over but Alberto Santiago has both hooks. He works for an RNC but "God of War" defends well. Round 3 is finished.
