Round 1
The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. A trip to the ground allows Stu to move into the guard of Shi. "The Sea Eagle" pushes down Huas leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Hua tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Stu slips out of half guard and into side control. Sellers attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Shi Hua for his troubles. Shi Hua tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. "Master Flowers" tries to scramble out of half guard, but Stu Sellers takes his back during it. Hua tries to explode out the backdoor but "The Sea Eagle" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Hua falls flat to protect himself. Stu slides off to the side of Hua and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Stu switches back to full back control. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Hua throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Sellers. Sellers begins to clinch with Shi Hua, but Shi Hua presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. "The Sea Eagle" hops backward following a slapping kick to the calf from Shi Hua. "Master Flowers" connects with a teep to the face of Stu. Sellers attempts to press in on Shi Hua but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Sellers reaches down and trips Shi with a beautiful ankle pick. Sellers dives into his guard. Sellers pushes down Shi Huas leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Sellers hits "Master Flowers" with some punches to the side of the head. Sellers slips out of half guard and into side control. Shi takes a few knees to the body while under Stus side control. Hua sneaks a leg back under the body of Stu to achieve a defensive half guard. Hua tries to scramble out of half guard, but Stu Sellers takes his back during it. Stu Sellers is working a furious pace on Shi, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Sellers slides to the side and spanks the butt of Shi in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. The bell signals the end of round 3.
