Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Elian Daube winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Elian Daube lands a strong right cross, knocking back Alfredo Padilla. Alfredo Padilla shakes his head, no selling the strike. Alfredo Padilla throws a push kick. Elian shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Father Funks" nose.
Elian connects with a hard punch making "Father Funk" bring him in to a tight clinch. Elian works Alfredo into the cage from the clinch. Elian presses his head under "Father Funks" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Alfredo Padilla takes Elians back standing. Alfredo Padilla lifts up Daube and dumps him on his back, taking side control.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Elian connects with a jab cross combination. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Elian works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Daube takes the back of "Father Funk" who works for a kimura. Daube pulls his arm out of the hold and push "Father Funk" away. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Elian snaps back the head of "Father Funk" with a stiff jab. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Daube lands a double jab. Elian Daube sends Alfredo Padilla to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "Father Funk" slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Elian grabs a guillotine hold and forces "Father Funk" back down gaining side control. Elian Daube slides his knee across the body of Alfredo Padilla and takes full mount. Elian slams a 12 to 6 elbow down to the face of Alfredo Padilla. Alfredo Padilla goes limp and the referee stops the fight.
