Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. Basa connects with a strong body shot combo. A wild hook from Nino Basa is ducked by Changpu Cai who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "Shenguo Jishu" connects with jab cross combination. Nino Basa connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Nino Basa winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The fighters circle each other. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Shenguo Jishu" works Basa into the cage from the clinch. "Shenguo Jishu" presses his head under Basas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Nino Basa dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Changpu Cai standing over him. Cai attempts to drop a fist on Nino Basa, but misses and lands in his guard. "Shenguo Jishu" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Changpu tries to pass guard but "Rowdy Piper" stops him with a well timed punch. Basa goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Changpu Cai slips out at the last second. Nino is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Changpu. Nino struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Changpu is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Nino throws a cross that easily dodged by Cai. "Rowdy Piper" tries to hyperextend the knee of Changpu Cai with a kick to the kneecap. Changpu Cai hops back to avoid it. Nino Basa ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Changpu Cai to the mat, and his back. Nino peppers shot to the head of Changpu Cai looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Changpu Cai is hand playing well. Changpu starts to wiggle out of back control, "Rowdy Piper" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Changpu Cai keeps "Rowdy Piper" at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Shenguo Jishu" sends Nino to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 3 is over.
