Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Dan takes down "Speed", but remains standing over him. Deasmhumhain stands over Rip Cummings, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Rip Cummings is able to grab an arm and pull Deasmhumhain into his guard. Dan Deasmhumhain passes through Rip Cummingss guard into mount. Rip Cummings gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dan Deasmhumhain works his arm around the neck of Rip Cummings attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Rip Cummings hand fights well. Cummings tries to escape out the back but Deasmhumhain locks a crucifix, rolling Cummings to his back. Cummings is unable to defend against Dans elbow strikes from the crucifix and he is knocked out cold.
