Round 3 Mendoza attempts a striking combination, but "Coco" forces the clinch. Cabrera works Pedro into the cage from the clinch. Cabrera presses his head under Mendozas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Pedro Mendoza recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "Coco" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. "Coco" locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Pedro Mendoza. Pedro attempts to grab the plum but is met by an overhand punch from Adolfo. "Coco" pushes Mendoza into the cage. "Coco" illegally grabs the cage for leverage but the referee doesn\'t see it. The ref breaks the action as "Coco" is too inactive holding Pedro in the clinch. The action is restarted with the fighters separated. Round 3 comes to a close.
