Round 1 The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. Chetwynd dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Chetwynd starts to put on the pressure, forcing Nino Basa back into the cage. Chetwynd takes advantage and clinches. Lou is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Nino Basa attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Chetwynd. Lou Chetwynd works to Nino Basas back while standing. Lou Chetwynd throws a couple of outside shots until Nino is able to work his way back to the clinch. Chetwynd is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Chetwynd is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. "Rowdy Piper" drops a few strong punches, opening up "The Booty Mans" guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. "The Booty Man" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Chetwynd starts to wiggle out of back control, Nino lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Chetwynd is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Basa attempts to pass Lou Chetwynds guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Chetwynd gets pummeled by the fists of "Rowdy Piper". Chetwynd gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn\'t quite make it. "Rowdy Piper" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can\'t quite finish it. Giving up his back, "The Booty Man" panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Basa takes "The Booty Man" down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over "The Booty Man". "Rowdy Piper" stands over Lou Chetwynd, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Lou Chetwynd is able to grab an arm and pull "Rowdy Piper" into his guard. Lou Chetwynd locks a kimura and forces Basa to defend. Lou Chetwynd settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Basas temple. "Rowdy Piper" drops a few strong punches, opening up Chetwynds guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Nino maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Lou gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nino lays into Lou with some strong shots forcing Lou to give up mount position. "The Booty Man" pulls his leg out from under "Rowdy Piper" and gets back to half guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
