Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. "Tanuki" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from McCarthy. A trip to the ground allows "Tanuki" to move into the guard of McCarthy. "Mufasa " connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Osamu Takemago presses the action while in the guard, but "Mufasa " is able to switch him into mount. "Mufasa " executes a double hand slap to the ears of Takemago. Osamu pulls McCarthy close to avoid a flurry of strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Osamu fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Buff McCarthy. Osamu ducks under to the back of Buff and hops up getting both hooks in. Osamu applies a deep choke. Buff fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Buff takes the back of Osamu who works for a kimura. Buff pulls his arm out of the hold and push Osamu away. Osamu hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. McCarthy parries Osamu Takemagos jab and connect with a cross. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Buff throws a hard jab but Osamu Takemago throws a cross right over the top that knocks Buff to the ground. Osamu stands over Buff, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Buff cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
"Tanuki" connects with a jab cross combination. McCarthy throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Takemago is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "Mufasa " is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown.Round 3 comes to a close.
