Round 1 Watts offers a glove touch, Cheng shakes their head and advances. Watts throws a hard jab but "San" throws a cross right over the top rocking Watts. "San" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Watts. Cheng attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Bannings strikes. Banning Watts drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "San" sets a guillotine choke but Banning Watts slips out at the last moment. Banning Watts is now caught in guard. Daniel attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Banning is too quick and takes half guard. Daniel uses the planted arm of Banning Watts to push off and get back to guard position. Daniel gets his arm underneath the neck of Watts while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Watts powers out of the attempted choke. Watts takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Chengs guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Cheng makes his way to standing. Cheng connects with jab cross combination. Cheng connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "San" connects with a hard punch making Banning Watts bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Daniel escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Daniel connects with jab cross combination. Cheng connects with jab cross combination. "Beowolf" connects with a jab cross combination. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows "Beowolf" to move into the guard of Cheng. Daniel Cheng attempts to lock an omoplata, but Banning Watts is able to muscle his way back to the guard. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces "Beowolf" to pull Daniel Cheng close. "Beowolf" is having trouble breathing in Daniels guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
