Round 1 Diaz fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Cru. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Bryant to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Mauri drops a huge strike to Crus chin, landing into his guard. Cru attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Diaz slips out at the last moment. Diaz drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Bryant lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Cru Bryant works the rubber guard on Diaz, eventually allowing an omaplata to be set in. Diaz quickly taps out.
