Round 1 Noboru connects with a series of punches forcing Reggie into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Noboru Kobayashi decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Reggie Cox with him. Noboru shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Noboru goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "AlwaysHard" slips out at the last second. Kobayashi lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Noboru works for a triangle but Reggie Cox throws Kobayashis straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Noboru is staggered by a jab to the chin. "AlwaysHard" unleashes a flurry of punches on Noboru Kobayashi. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Reggie Cox grabs the plum and pulls "Wild Weasels" face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Reggie Cox lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Noboru begins a combination but "AlwaysHard" ducks down, picking Kobayashis leg. "AlwaysHard" lifts Kobayashis leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Reggie Cox lays into "Wild Weasels" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Noboru does so. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Reggie Cox dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Noboru Kobayashi. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Wild Weasel" uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Noboru takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Reggies guard. It doesn't pay off as Reggie makes his way to standing. Cox sends Kobayashi to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Reggie pulls out of the guard of Kobayashi, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Kobayashi. Reggie dodges a few strikes from Noboru and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Kobayashi goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "AlwaysHard" slips out at the last second. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
