Round 1 After dodging a jab-cross, "Bus" lands a kick to the liver of Stevens who steps back and begins to take a knee. "Bus" rushes forward to capitalize but Stevens stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Popham dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Dick. "Bus" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Dick. A left high kick from "Bus" keeps Dick Stevens at bay. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gus Popham takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "Bus" throws a cross that easily dodged by Dick. Popham throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Stevens puts Popham on the mat giving his back up. Gus eats a few stiff shots from Dick Stevens, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Gus shifts his head and hips to keep Dick Stevens off balance and unable to land strikes. Dick Stevens secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Gus Popham takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Dick narrowly dodges a cross from Popham, but falls catching him in his guard. Gus drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Stevens sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Dick maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Dick Stevens secures his position. The round comes to an end.
