Elkins dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Volody Goncharov standing over him. Goncharov drops a huge strike to "The Naturals" chin, landing into his guard. "The Natural" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Volody Goncharov slips out at the last second. "The Natural" attempts an armbar. Goncharov time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into "The Naturals" guard. "The Natural" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Elkins backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Goncharov connects with a strong right hook. Brett connects with a strong right hook. Volody throws a cross that easily dodged by Brett. Elkins parries Goncharovs jab and connect with a cross. Goncharov takes down Brett, but remains standing over him. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Brett Elkins shoots a takedown from a distance putting Volody on the ground. Elkins drops a few strong punches, opening up Volody Goncharovs guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Volody gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Goncharov slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Volody Goncharov stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. "The Natural" drops a few strong punches, opening up Goncharovs guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Volody gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Volody Goncharov carefully protects himself from "The Naturals" strikes. "The Natural" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The round comes to an end.
