Simmons connects with a right that puts Coleman off balance tumbling to the mat, as Simmons towers over him. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Justin Coleman attempts a takedown, but Simmons clumsily falls down without much provocation. Justin drops a huge strike to Gil Simmonss chin, landing into his guard. Justin Coleman drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Justin passes through Gils guard into mount. Justin maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Gil Simmons gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Coleman attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Gil Simmons rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Justin Coleman is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Simmons is now caught in Colemans guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Simmons snaps back the head of Justin Coleman with a stiff jab. Simmons narrowly dodges a cross from Justin, but falls catching him in his guard. Simmons shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Justin Coleman attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Simmons takes the chance to switch Justin Coleman over to mount him. Justin attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Gil secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
