This gives "Manuel Labor" the chance to switch to half guard. "The DBA Grimm" opens a cut over the eye of Ortega. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Ben slams his knee into Ignacio Ortegas ribs. Ben tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Ben Wright connects with a series of punches forcing Ignacio Ortega into a clinch. Wright places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. While tied up, "Manuel Labor" is met with a hard uppercut. Ben is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Wright parries Ignacio Ortegas jab and connect with a cross. Ben Wright takes Ignacio Ortega down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Ignacio Ortega. "The DBA Grimm" lays into "Manuel Labor" with some stomps. "Manuel Labor" can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
