Round 1
Lasar Meirelles is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Mark Martin presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Lasar Meirelles survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Lasar Meirelles attempts to clinch, but Martin connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Martin takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Lasar Meirelles fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Martin. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Mark Martin grabs the plum and pulls Lasar Meirelless face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Mark Martin lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Mark Martin lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Mark is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Metal Man" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Lasar Meirelles. "Space Herpe" is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Mark prepares to pounce, but "Space Herpe" gets his bearings just in time. As Lasar Meirelles attempts to keep Mark in front of him, Mark grabs Meirelless ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
"Space Herpe" parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Lasar Meirelles is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Mark. Martin fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Lasar Meirelles. Martin grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Meirelles. Mark is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Lasar Meirelles tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Mark that puts him on the floor. "Metal Man" dances around Lasars legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Round 3 comes to a close.

Mark "Metal Man" Martin wins by Unanimous Decision
