Round 1 Paul keeps Buster at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Green attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Buster Murphy who lands in his guard. Paul backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A left high kick from Paul keeps Murphy at bay. Buster circles Green, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Buster throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Green puts Buster on the mat giving his back up. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Paul Green receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Buster Murphy lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Paul attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Murphy pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A left high kick from Paul Green keeps Buster Murphy at bay. Green throws a kick to the midsection of Murphy. Green lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Murphy attempts a takedown which Paul easily avoids. Rising to his feet Murphy eats a left shin to the dome. Murphy is put down hard. The ref stops the fight.
