Round 1 Daisuke Tadeshi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Curro Huerta. Tadeshi gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Daisuke Tadeshi dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Curro Huerta standing over him. Curro Huerta attempts to drop a fist on Daisuke, but misses and lands in his guard. Daisuke goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Curro Huerta slips out at the last second. Daisuke lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Daisuke Tadeshi lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Tadeshi sinks a deep kimura, but Curro slides out. This gives Tadeshi the chance to switch to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Huerta gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. A strong elbow forces Tadeshi to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Curro Huerta drops a huge strike to Tadeshis chin, landing into his guard. Daisuke shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Daisuke Tadeshi dodges some ground strikes from Curro, and sends a few back of his own. Daisuke lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Daisuke Tadeshi connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Daisuke sends Huerta to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Curro begins to work the rubber guard. Daisuke takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Curro Huertas guard. It doesn't pay off as Huerta makes his way to standing. Huerta snaps back the head of Daisuke Tadeshi with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. Curro Huerta is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Tadeshi. Tadeshi now has side control. Tadeshi attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Curro for his troubles. Huerta gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
