Round 1
Yegorov is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Sorokin presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Yegorov survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Petrov Yegorov is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Sorokin connects with a series of punches forcing Petrov into a clinch. "the Russian Islander" grabs the plum and pulls Petrov Yegorovs face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. "the Russian Islander" lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "the Russian Islander" is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Yegorov tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from "the Russian Islander" that puts him on the floor. Helge Sorokin dances around Yegorovs legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Petrovs legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Petrov Yegorov attempts a striking combination, but Helge forces the clinch. Yegorov drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "the Russian Islander" sets a guillotine choke but Yegorov slips out at the last moment. Yegorov is now caught in guard. Sorokin attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sorokin grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Yegorov on the floor. Sorokin lays into Petrovs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Petrov does so. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Sorokin circles Petrov Yegorov, mixing jabs with body shots. Petrov parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Petrov Yegorov weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Sorokin lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Yegorov. Sorokin then switch kicks Yegorov on the opposing rib. Round 3 is over.
