Round 2 Skip Simmons fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Garcia. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Pito dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Simmons standing over him. Skip Simmons attempts to drop a fist on Pito, but misses and lands in his guard. Pito lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Garcia attempts an armbar. Skip time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Pito Garcias guard. Skip drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Pito Garcia gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Pito Garcia lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Skip Simmons circles Garcia, mixing jabs with body shots. Simmons lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Skip Simmons throws a cross that easily dodged by Garcia. Skip is staggered by a jab to the chin. Skip Simmons lands a devastating overhand right on Garcia. The bell signals the end of round 3.
