Round 1 Bert is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. BJ Lewis explodes forward with a push kick that puts Bert on the canvas. Lewis drops a huge strike to "Richards" chin, landing into his guard. BJ Lewis attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Bert Simmons slips out of it at the last moment. Lewis passes through Berts guard into mount. "Knuckles" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Bert gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lewis lands a series of heavy punches forcing Simmons to roll to his back, giving Lewis mount. Bert attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Simmons escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Lewis parries "Richards" jab and connect with a cross. BJ Lewis is staggered by a jab to the chin. BJ Lewis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. BJ Lewis is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Bert lays into Lewiss thighs with some well timed kicks while "Knuckles" is grounded. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Richard" lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. After dodging a jab-cross, "Richard" lands a kick to the liver of BJ who steps back and begins to take a knee. "Richard" rushes forward to capitalize but BJ stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Bert circles Lewis, landing jabs at will. BJ is staggered by a jab to the chin. BJ Lewis is staggered by a jab to the chin. A looping right hook from Simmons sends "Knuckles" to the mat. Round 3 is over.
