Round 1
The fighters circle each other. A jab from Vasquez is blocked and a cross is returned by Perez. Pablo Perez grabs for a clinch but "Macheata" grazes him with an uppercut. Pablo Perez staggers back, then surprises "Macheata" with a powerful superman punch. Vasquez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. "Macheata" tries to explode out the backdoor but Pablo sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. "Macheata" falls flat to protect himself. Manuelito carefully protects himself from Perezs strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
"Persistent " lands a double jab. Perez shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "Persistent " lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Macheata" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Persistent " is working a furious pace on Vasquez, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Manuelito Vasquez tries to stand up but "Persistent " plants him back down with several strikes. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
"Persistent " attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Vasquez takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Manuelito Vasquez slides his knee across the body of "Persistent " and takes full mount. Pablo Perez attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Perez gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Manuelito locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at "Persistent ". Pablo Perez tries to explode out the backdoor but Manuelito Vasquez sinks in both hooks. Pablo Perez stands up but Manuelito Vasquez sinks a choke. Pablo Perez slowly succumbs to the hold and taps.
