Round 1
Caron throws a kick to the midsection of Yves. Yves Chauvin shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "The One Good Frenchy" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Spencer Caron for his troubles. Spencer Caron gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Chauvin slides off to the side of Spencer and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Chauvin switches back to full back control. Giving up his back, Caron panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Spencer strikes with a straight front kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The One Good Frenchy" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Spencer sets a guillotine choke but "The One Good Frenchy" slips out at the last moment. "The One Good Frenchy" is now caught in guard. Spencer Caron attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A jab from Yves is blocked and a cross is returned by Spencer. A wild hook from Chauvin is ducked by Caron who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Spencer Caron lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Caron attempts a lazy shot, which "The One Good Frenchy" sprawls, eventually taking Caron back. Caron carefully protects himself from Chauvins strikes. Spencer Caron is able to make it back to the standing position. Caron attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Yves Chauvin takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Chauvin slides his knee across the body of Caron and takes full mount. Yves secures his position. Yves Chauvin punishes Caron with a series of strikes from the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
